Yeah it'd be fun. I'll volunteer my place for partying, but I wont have a place until summer.

ps. Marin -- I have a sweet beard these days Wink

I'll be at the Dec. 21st Darkest Hour concert as well.

So did you go to this show? It was so sick. I didn't see the first two bands, but the top 3 were sweet. I stagedove for the first time too....I was pumped. Great setlist. Skeletonwitch was awesome as well.

Yeah I was there. I made it in during Rose Funeral's set. I'm not a fan of Skeletonwith or The Red Chord, but both bands played really good sets. I like how when The Red Chord came out to play their first song, the pulled the, "This is going to be our last song." Then they did it for their last 5 songs too. That was pretty funny. Glad you had fun stage diving, but I absolutely hate it. I've been landed on too many times. Especially at this show. Overall the show was awesome.

I'm not really into stagediving either, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to jump and scream the first line of Doomsayer, and there was really only one way off the stage.

Did you see the dude stage dive and get knocked cold?

No I didn't see that one. But during Rose Funeral, I saw a girl casually walking through the pit get completely blind sided. It was funny cause at the time, there was really only one guy running around, and he happen to destroy her. She was alright though.

This isn't really an upcoming concert, but yesterday I saw: Kylesa, Torche, Baroness, Skeletonwitch, Boris, High on Fire, Neurosis, and Mastodon.

I'm thinking about going to the Amon Amarth tour when they come to Baltimore. Haven't decided yet though.

It was a free show in Atlanta called Scion Rock Fest. It was pretty sweet. I drove all the way from Virginia with a buddy and back the next day.

I am also going to that Amon Amarth show in Baltimore. Marin, you should come to that one. Skeletonwitch is really solid. I recorded one of their songs. Check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRlYmp5KsuM

Is anyone going to check out The Haunted, Kylesa, Nachtmystium tour?

Ps. a beard pic is attached.

Sweet beard pic! I'm gonna get in on this I think, as I have recently grown fond of the beard and attempted to grow my own. Now I just need a digital camera!

show was so good two nights ago.
right at the front for Burst and The Ocean.
I'm still a total parapalegic two days later.. neck, arms, stomach, back, legs all fucked. throat (and ears) included. Basically like I've been raped by a rhino.
Already had one day of people taking the piss and telling me I look like a retard for not turning my head, haha.

Anyway, I find out:
Pestilence
Baroness
Evile
and COALESCE!!

are playing at the same venue (at different dates) soon

hurry the fuck up and heal, body Evil

Mavis, that beard is awesome!  and the pic is pretty awesome too.  I am jealous/want to touch it.

damn ODT, you see a lot of good shows.  Youve been seeing a lot too Mave, jeez.  I almost went to see Napalm Death last night, but it was a 5:30-9:00 show and I falsely assumed it started at 8:00, so I missed it. hah.

Yeah....I actually shaved a few weeks ago, but it's back in full force. You should come to VA and touch my beard. That sounded a little weird.....but yeah. We should meet up in 2009 for realz.

Yeah I have a lot of good shows coming up too.

Kylesa on the 21st. Opeth/Enslaved on the 27th. ... and I feel like something is going on in June that I cant remember.

Burnt By The Sun - October the 15th (2009, hah). London, Islington.

I'm high and wrote what I thought was a cerebral passage, which I then deleted.

Basically: I'm going to destroy the place, etc.

Few shows I'm going to try to go to when I get back from Jew York in the new year.

Hope Conspiracy - Jan 12th - London Barfly
Baroness - Jan 19th - Underworld
Municipal Waste - Feb 4th - Scala
Black Dahlia Murder - Feb 5th - ULU
Dillinger Escape Plan - Feb 12th - Barfly
Mastodon - Feb 24th - Roundhouse

Definitely going to the Baroness and BDM shows. Three Inches of Blood are opening for BDM, haha.
As for the Dillinger show, it's at a tiny venue and sold out long ago, but apparently there are tickets on the door. Mastodon will probably be sold out already but I'll check now anyway.
Gonna be tricky figuring out how to get to and from up nerrrrrrth.

Right. I'm off to book some tickets now  Cool

I don't have any big shows in the future, but Heart of Winter Fest II is happening in Richmond in a few weeks.

Tomorrow night Baroness.

Found out a couple days ago that Saint Vitus play on the 3rd of February with Orange Goblin and Centurion's Ghost opening!
£20 tickets though!

I've already got tickets to Municipal Waste on the 4th, and Black Dahlia Murder (Obscura and a bunch of other bands are opening) on the 5th.

And I've got the ticket for Mastodon.

Opeth are playing in the fucking Albert Hall on April 4th - it says sold out but I'm going to walk up there to check it out while I'm back in London. It's five minutes up the road Cheesy
